Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is much better than the HTC One M9, having an 87 score against 77.7. Even though Galaxy A42 is somewhat heavier than the HTC One M9, it's thinner and extremely newer. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A42 has the newer 11 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0.
HTC One M9 counts with a way better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1920 x 1080 resolution and a much greater pixel amount per inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy A42 features a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than HTC One M9, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal storage capacity.
HTC One M9 features just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A42, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC One M9 also counts with a graphics processor and a 64-bits processing unit. Samsung Galaxy A42 features a bit better camera than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a bigger aperture to take better low-light images and videos and a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution back camera.
The Galaxy A42 has a way better battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 76% bigger battery size.
