Comparison review
The HTC One M9 has a general score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A5 (2017)'s global score of 75.8. Despite of the fact the HTC One M9 is older and somewhat thicker than the Galaxy A5 (2017), it's body is still just a little bit lighter. HTC One M9 has a better processing unit than Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processor, the HTC One M9 also has a 64-bit processor and a graphics co-processor.
The HTC One M9 counts with a much better screen than Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080 resolution, the HTC One M9 also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen. HTC One M9 features a bit better camera than Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images and videos, it also counts with a way higher (4K) video definition and a more megapixels back camera.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) counts with a bit more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 256 GB.
