The Galaxy A50 has a score of 83.8, which is slightly better than HTC One M9's 77.7 global score. Galaxy A50 is a much newer and way thinner cellphone than the HTC One M9, but it's a bit heavier. HTC One M9 has a better looking display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080px resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display.

The HTC One M9 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and an extra graphics processor. The Galaxy A50 has a much greater storage for apps and games than HTC One M9, because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory.

The Samsung Galaxy A50 and HTC One M9 feature very similar cameras, because although the Samsung Galaxy A50 has a smaller sensor taking less light and washed colors, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, it also counts with a higher 25 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a much bigger aperture to capture better low light photos.
