Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) is a little bit better than HTC One M9, with a 79.2 score against 77.7. Although the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) is just a bit heavier than the HTC One M9, it's thinner and way newer. HTC One M9 features a brighter display than Galaxy A8 (2018), although it has a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a little bit smaller display, they both have the same count of pixels in each display inch.

HTC One M9 has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bit CPU and an additional graphics co-processor.
