Comparison review
Galaxy M40 is a bit better than HTC One M9, with an 85 score against 77.7. Although the Galaxy M40 is just a little heavier than HTC One M9, it's thinner and also a lot newer. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy M40 has newer 10 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0.
HTC One M9 features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bit processor and an additional graphics co-processor. HTC One M9 features a better looking display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a really smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, it also counts with a bit higher amount of pixels in each display inch.
The Galaxy M40 counts with a bit better camera than HTC One M9, because although it has a smaller camera sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a way larger aperture to take better photos and video in low-light situations and a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
The Galaxy M40 features a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9, because it has 96 GB more internal memory and a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M40 features improved battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity.
