Samsung Galaxy Note7 has a global score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than the HTC One M9's 77.7 score. Samsung Galaxy Note7's body is newer and thinner than the HTC One M9's, but it's also just a little heavier. The HTC One M9 has a quite better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note7, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor, a 64-bits processing unit and 4 more cpu cores (although they are slower).
The HTC One M9 has a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note7, although it has a little bit smaller display, a little bit lower number of pixels per screen inch and a way lower 1920 x 1080 resolution. Samsung Galaxy Note7 has a very superior memory for games and applications than HTC One M9, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 256 GB and more internal memory.
The Galaxy Note7 has greater battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 3500mAh battery size. The HTC One M9 counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note7, because although it has a much smaller aperture which is not recommended for low light photography, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the HTC One M9 also counts with a camera with way more mega-pixels and a bigger camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and pictures.
