Comparison review

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is slightly better than HTC One M9, getting an 80.1 score against 77.7. Although the Galaxy XCover FieldPro is extremely newer than the HTC One M9, it is noticeably thicker and extremely heavier. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy XCover FieldPro has 8.0 Oreo version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0, providing the user a lot of extra features.

HTC One M9 counts with a little sharper display than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a bit smaller display, a little less pixels per screen inch and a lot worse 1920 x 1080 resolution. HTC One M9 counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 8 cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with an additional GPU and a 64 bits CPU.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 32 GB more internal memory. Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a superior battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 2840mAh.

HTC One M9 captures greater photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a much tinier aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality, a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a back facing camera with a much higher 20 MP resolution.

Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC One M9. If you want to save some money, you can get HTC One M9, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
