Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than the HTC One M9, getting a overall score of 94.6 against 77.7. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 design is much newer and noticeably thinner, but way heavier than the HTC One M9. These phones include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has newer 11 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0, so it counts with a lot of extra features and increased performance.
The HTC One M9 features a sharper screen than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a lot lower 1920 x 1080px resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
HTC One M9 counts with a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and a graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a much longer battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has just a bit better camera than HTC One M9, because although it has a lot less mega pixels camera and a worse video definition, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light images and a lot larger sensor providing a much higher image quality.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One M9. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get HTC One M9, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
