Xperia 1 V is a bit better than the HTC One M9, having an 82.7 score against 77.7. Even though the Xperia 1 V is heavier than HTC One M9, it's thinner and also noticeably newer. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 1 V has a newer 13 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version.
HTC One M9 features a bit sharper display than Xperia 1 V, although it has a really smaller screen, a lot lower pixels density and a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution.
