Comparison review

The Sony Xperia PRO has a general score of 94.3, which is way better than the HTC One M9's 77.7 global score. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Sony Xperia PRO has a newer 10 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0, so it offers a couple nice extra features and performance improvements. Sony Xperia PRO's construction is noticeably newer, but extremely heavier and just a little thicker than the HTC One M9.

HTC One M9 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xperia PRO, although it has a way lower pixel amount per screen inch, a lot lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a much smaller display. The Sony Xperia PRO has a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, because it has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and more internal memory capacity.

HTC One M9 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Xperia PRO, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a graphics processing unit and a 64-bit processing unit. Xperia PRO counts with a way better battery life than HTC One M9, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 2840mAh.

Xperia PRO takes just a bit better photographs and videos than HTC One M9, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a lot less mega-pixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor which gives a much higher photo and video quality and a much larger aperture to take better photography and videos in poorly lited environments.

Although Xperia PRO is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC One M9. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the HTC One M9, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
