The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a score of 79, which is a bit better than HTC One M9's global score of 77.7. These devices have Android OS, but Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0, providing you some nice extra features. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact's design is much newer than HTC One M9's, but it's just a bit heavier and a lot thicker.
HTC One M9 counts with a little faster processing unit than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with an extra GPU and a 64-bits processing unit.
