Even though the Sony Xperia Z4v and the HTC One M9 were released only 4 months apart, Sony Xperia Z4v's body is somewhat thinner but just a little bit heavier.
Xperia Z4v counts with a little sharper screen than HTC One M9, because it has a little bit larger screen, a greater pixels number per inch in the display and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px. HTC One M9 features a bit superior processor than Xperia Z4v, and although they both have a 600 MHz graphics processor, a 3 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also has a 64-bits CPU.
The Xperia Z4v has as much storage to store more games and applications as HTC One M9, both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 128 GB and equal 32 GB internal storage. Xperia Z4v features just a bit better camera than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xperia Z4v also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light images and videos, a more mega pixels back camera and a larger back camera sensor providing a better image quality.
The Xperia Z4v counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 3000mAh battery size against 2840mAh.
Although Xperia Z4v is a better device, it costs more money than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One M9.
