Comparison review

Xperia Z5 Premium is just a bit better than HTC One M9, having a 79.8 score against 77.7. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Xperia Z5 Premium has a more recent 5.1 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version. Xperia Z5 Premium's design is somewhat thinner but heavier than the HTC One M9, and both of them were released only a couple of months apart.

The HTC One M9 counts with a little bit better performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same number of cores and 3 GB of RAM memory, the HTC One M9 also has a 64-bits processing unit and a faster graphics processing unit working at 600 megahertz. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a brighter display than HTC One M9, because it has a lot higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px, a way better amount of pixels per display inch and a quite bigger display.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium takes just a bit better pictures and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a larger camera aperture to capture better low light photos, a larger sensor which gives a higher photo and video quality and a more megapixels camera.

The Xperia Z5 Premium features a slightly better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 200 GB. The Xperia Z5 Premium features greater battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One M9. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the HTC One M9, letting go a couple features and specifications.
