Comparison review
The HTC One M9 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, with a general score of 77.7 against 77.5. HTC One M9 is an extremely older and way thicker device than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but HTC was able to build it noticeably lighter anyway. HTC One M9 counts with a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a GPU and a 64-bits processor.
HTC One M9 counts with a way better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the HTC One M9 also counts with a greater screen density. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a way bigger storage to store more apps and games than HTC One M9, and although they both have an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has more internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much longer battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has an 87 percent bigger battery capacity. The HTC One M9 has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same (4K) video resolution and a F2.2 camera aperture, the HTC One M9 also has a back-facing camera with a much better resolution and a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality videos and pictures.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, HTC One M9 is also a lot cheaper, making buying this phone an easy decision.
