Comparison review
The HTC One M9 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, getting a 77.7 score against 76. HTC One M9 is an older and way thicker phone than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but HTC was able to make it just a little bit lighter anyway. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but HTC One M9 has 5.0 version while Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
HTC One M9 has a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has 3 GB less RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores (although slower), a graphics processing unit and a 64-bits processing unit. The HTC One M9 has a sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the HTC One M9 also counts with a quite better amount of pixels per display inch.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a much longer battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has a 4070mAh battery capacity.
The HTC One M9 features a superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low light images and videos, a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back facing camera with a worse 20 mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The HTC One M9 not only is the best phones of the ones we compare here, but it's also a bargain compared to the other phones.
