Comparison review
The HTC One M9 is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, getting a global score of 77.7 against 75.8. Despite of the fact HTC One M9 is a lot older and somewhat thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, it's body is still lighter. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the HTC One M9 has the previous 5.0 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The HTC One M9 has a better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a little worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher amount of pixels per screen inch. The HTC One M9 counts with a better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and a GPU.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has 32 GB more internal memory. HTC One M9 counts with a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same aperture, the HTC One M9 also has a much better 20 MP resolution camera in the back and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a very superior battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
