Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a general score of 81.1, which is just a bit better than HTC One M9's general score of 77.7. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro design is much newer and just a bit thinner than the HTC One M9's, but it's way heavier. These phones work with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has the newer 10 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0.
The HTC One M9 features just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a graphics processing unit and a 64 bits processor. HTC One M9 has a better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a bit greater pixels density.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a much better camera than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos, a much higher 64 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a way larger sensor providing a way better image quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than HTC One M9, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a way better battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity instead of 2840mAh.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One M9. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the HTC One M9, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
