Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 3 has an overall score of 81.1, which is better than HTC One max's 69.6 overall score. These phones use Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 3 has newer 5.0 version while HTC One max has Android 4.4.2 version. The Galaxy Note 3 body is lighter and somewhat thinner than HTC One max, even though both were released with only a few months difference.

Galaxy Note 3 has a bit superior processing unit than HTC One max, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note 3 also has a greater amount of RAM memory and a better 450 megahertz graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a bit more vivid display than HTC One max, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also counts with a quite better pixel density.

The Galaxy Note 3 shoots much better photographs and videos than HTC One max, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing photographs or videos in low-light situations and a smaller back camera sensor offering a worse image quality, it also counts with a back facing camera with much more mega pixels and a way higher (4K) video quality.

Galaxy Note 3 counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games than HTC One max, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 3 also has 64 GB internal storage capacity. HTC One max features just a bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.

Even being the best phone in our current comparison, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is also the cheapest.
