The Xperia Z3 has a general score of 75.8, which is a little bit better than HTC One max's general score of 70.9. Xperia Z3's construction is newer, thinner and incredibly lighter than the HTC One max. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Z3 has 4.4.4 version while HTC One max has Android 4.4.2 version, so it gives a lot of extra features and a performance increase.

The Xperia Z3 has a bit superior CPU than HTC One max, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Xperia Z3 also has 1 GB more RAM and a much better graphics processing unit working at 450 MHz. The Xperia Z3 features a sharper screen than HTC One max, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a just a little better pixel density.

The Xperia Z3 features a way better camera than HTC One max, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Xperia Z3 also has a way higher (4K) video definition, a camera in the back with a much better resolution and a much bigger sensor capturing much better quality videos and pictures. The HTC One max has a better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia Z3, because although it has a SD card slot that supports 64 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal memory.

HTC One max features just a bit better battery life than Sony Xperia Z3, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.

Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Sony Xperia Z3 is also a bargain compared to the other phones, which makes it a no doubt choice.
