The LG G8 ThinQ design is newer than HTC One S's, although it's a bit thicker and noticeably heavier. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but the LG G8 ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version while HTC One S has Android 4.1.1 version, so it provides a lot of extra features and some performance improvements.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than HTC One S, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. LG G8 ThinQ takes much better photographs and videos than HTC One S, because it has a way better 12 mega pixels resolution back camera, a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a much larger aperture to take better captures and video in poorly lited environments.
LG G8 ThinQ features a much better battery lifetime than HTC One S, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
