Xperia L1 has a general score of 64.4, which is a bit better than the HTC One SV LTE's 58.7 score. Although the Xperia L1 is notably heavier than HTC One SV LTE, it's just a little bit thinner and also a lot newer. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Xperia L1 has the newer 7.0 Nougat version while HTC One SV LTE has Android 4.0.4, giving lots of additional features and performance improvements.
Xperia L1 has a bit superior CPU than HTC One SV LTE, because it has 1 GB more RAM memory and more cpu cores. The HTC One SV LTE has a little bit better display than Sony Xperia L1, although it has a bit worse pixels number per screen inch, a lot lower 800 x 480px resolution and a really smaller screen.
The Xperia L1 has a better camera than HTC One SV LTE, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting photos and video in low light environments, it also counts with a way more MP camera. Sony Xperia L1 counts with a much better battery duration than HTC One SV LTE, because it has a 2620mAh battery size instead of 1800mAh.
