The Samsung Galaxy S4 has an overall score of 76.1, which is much better than the HTC One X+'s 65.4 score. Both phones we compare here use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while HTC One X+ has Android 4.2.2, so it offers a couple additional features. Even when the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One X+ were released with only a couple of months difference, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is somewhat thinner and just a little lighter.
The Galaxy S4 has a little faster CPU than HTC One X+, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy S4 also has a larger amount of RAM memory and a GPU. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a bit better looking screen than HTC One X+, because it has a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1080, a quite bigger display and a greater display pixels density.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 captures greater photos and videos than HTC One X+, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S4 also counts with a much more MP back-facing camera. The HTC One X+ features a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
Galaxy S4 counts with improved battery life than HTC One X+, because it has 2600mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S4 costs a bit more money than HTC One X+, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
