Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the HTC U Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC U Play. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the HTC U Play, giving up some specifications.
