The Motorola edge is way better than HTC U Play, having a overall score of 89.6 against 73.5. Although the Motorola edge is notably newer than HTC U Play, it's thicker and noticeably heavier. The Motorola edge features just a bit better performance than HTC U Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Motorola edge also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

The HTC U Play features a slightly better display than Motorola edge, because although it has a much smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels quantity in each inch in the display. Motorola edge features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC U Play, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.

The Motorola edge has a superior battery lifetime than HTC U Play, because it has an 80% larger battery size. The Motorola edge has a very superior camera than HTC U Play, because it has a bigger aperture for better low light captures and videos, a lot higher video definition and a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.

The Motorola edge costs more money than HTC U Play, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
