The nubia Red Magic 5S design is much newer, but thicker and noticeably heavier than HTC U Play. Nubia Red Magic 5S has just a bit better performance than HTC U Play, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the nubia Red Magic 5S also has a greater amount of RAM.
Nubia Red Magic 5S counts with a slightly better looking screen than HTC U Play, because although it has a just a little lower display pixels density, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a bigger display. HTC U Play has much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than nubia Red Magic 5S, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB.
Nubia Red Magic 5S captures way better pictures and videos than HTC U Play, because it has a much better 7680x4320 video definition, a larger camera aperture and a back facing camera with a much higher resolution. The nubia Red Magic 5S features a very superior battery life than HTC U Play, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2500mAh.
Although nubia Red Magic 5S is a better device, it costs more money than HTC U Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC U Play. If you want to save some dollars, you can get HTC U Play, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
