OnePlus 9 is slightly better than HTC U Play, getting a global score of 76 against 73.5. Although the OnePlus 9 is incredibly newer than the HTC U Play, it's just a little bit thicker and a lot heavier. The OnePlus 9 features a little better performance than HTC U Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 9 also has a greater amount of RAM.
OnePlus 9 features a little more vivid display than HTC U Play, because although it has a little worse display pixel density, it also counts with a bigger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. HTC U Play features a superior memory for applications and games than OnePlus 9, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The OnePlus 9 captures much clearer photos and videos than HTC U Play, because it has a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a back facing camera with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution and a bigger diafragm aperture. OnePlus 9 features a much longer battery performance than HTC U Play, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although OnePlus 9 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC U Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HTC U Play. So if you need that extra features, you can buy OnePlus 9, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the HTC U Play, letting go a couple specs and features.
