Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 is just a bit better than the HTC U Ultra, with a score of 79.5 against 77. Although the Asus ROG Phone 8 is notably newer than the HTC U Ultra, it's notably heavier and somewhat thicker. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a much better screen than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a just a little worse pixel density, it also counts with a larger screen.
HTC U Ultra has a very superior CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 8 GB less RAM and a lower number of cores (although faster). The HTC U Ultra counts with a quite bigger storage for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
