The Galaxy A8 (2018) has an overall score of 79.2, which is a bit better than the HTC U Ultra's 77 general score. Galaxy A8 (2018) is a newer phone than HTC U Ultra, although it is a little thicker and a little bit heavier. HTC U Ultra counts with a little bit better display than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a quite greater count of pixels per inch of screen, a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a little bit bigger screen.

Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) counts with a bit better processing power than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) also has a larger number of cores. HTC U Ultra features a slightly better camera than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light images and a camera with a lot worse 12 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a lot better (4K) video quality.
