Comparison review
The Xperia 1 is just a bit better than the HTC U Ultra, having a score of 82.6 against 77. The Xperia 1 body is extremely newer than HTC U Ultra's, although it is a little heavier and just a little bit thicker. The Xperia 1 counts with a little faster CPU than HTC U Ultra, because it has a greater number of cores and 2 GB more RAM.
Xperia 1 features a brighter screen than HTC U Ultra, because it has a better 1644 x 3840 resolution, a little bit more pixels per inch in the display and a bit bigger display. HTC U Ultra shoots clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have a 12 mega pixels back-facing camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the HTC U Ultra also counts with better video frame rate and a larger sensor shooting higher quality photos and videos.
