The Xperia XZ2 Compact is just a bit better than HTC U Ultra, getting a 79 score against 77. The Xperia XZ2 Compact construction is newer and just a little lighter than HTC U Ultra's, although it's also thicker. The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a bit better hardware performance than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also has a higher number of cores.

HTC U Ultra has just a bit longer battery life than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2870mAh.
