Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is slightly better than HTC U Ultra, getting a 77.5 score against 77. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 construction is just a bit thinner but heavier than the HTC U Ultra, and both of them were only released 3 months apart. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a little better performance than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a larger number of cores.
HTC U Ultra has a better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. HTC U Ultra features more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
HTC U Ultra captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a 12 mega pixels resolution camera and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the HTC U Ultra also has a larger diafragm aperture for better captures and videos in poorly lited situations and a much larger back camera sensor which gives a way better photo and video quality.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a superior battery lifetime than HTC U Ultra, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is also by far the cheapest one.
