Comparison review
HTC U Ultra is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, with a global score of 77 against 76.2. The HTC U Ultra is a somewhat lighter cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, but they are 0.31inches thick. HTC U Ultra counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better display density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
Xiaomi Mi MIX has a bit faster processing unit than HTC U Ultra. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The HTC U Ultra has a way bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Xiaomi Mi MIX features a much better battery lifetime than HTC U Ultra, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. The HTC U Ultra features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a way worse resolution camera and a worse 3840x2160 video quality, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better low light photos and videos and a way bigger sensor shooting way higher quality photographs.

If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Xiaomi Mi MIX, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
