HTC U11 life counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than HTC U Ultra, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores.
HTC U Ultra takes a bit better photos and videos than HTC U11 life, because although it has a camera in the back with a much worse resolution and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better photos in low-light environments. HTC U Ultra counts with a bit superior battery performance than HTC U11 life, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HTC U11 life, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC U11 life. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy HTC U Ultra, else you can save some dollars and buy the HTC U11 life, resigning some specs and features.
