Motorola Moto Z2 Play's design is a little heavier but way thinner than the HTC U11 life, and they were only released with a few months difference. Moto Z2 Play's processing unit is very similar to HTC U11 life's processor, and although the Moto Z2 Play has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
HTC U11 life counts with a slightly better screen than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the HTC U11 life also counts with a quite better pixel density. HTC U11 life has a bit better camera than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for shooting photographs or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the HTC U11 life also counts with a back facing camera with a lot better resolution.
