Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is just a bit better than HTC U11 life, getting a overall score of 76 against 74.5. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is an older and somewhat heavier cellphone than HTC U11 life, but Xiaomi was able to make it just a little thinner anyway. HTC U11 life has a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with more cores (although they are slower).
HTC U11 life features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 1920px, the HTC U11 life also counts with a little bit better number of pixels in each inch in the display. HTC U11 life takes much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a camera with a much lower 16 MP resolution, they both have the same aperture.
HTC U11 life has much more storage to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a much longer battery lifetime than HTC U11 life, because it has a 57 percent greater battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC U11 life, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC U11 life. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the HTC U11 life, resigning some specifications.
