Huawei Mate 20 has a global score of 79.5, which is slightly better than HTC U11's 77.6 general score. The Huawei Mate 20 body is newer than the HTC U11's, although it is heavier and just a little thicker. The Huawei Mate 20 has a bit more powerful CPU than HTC U11. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a display that's just as good as HTC U11's screen, because although the Huawei Mate 20 has a much lower number of pixels in each screen inch and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2244px, it also counts with a bigger screen. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little bit more storage to store more apps and games than HTC U11, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Huawei Mate 20 features a slightly better camera than HTC U11, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting pictures and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same resolution back camera, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video definition, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a larger back camera sensor providing a better image quality.
Huawei Mate 20 has improved battery lifetime than HTC U11, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HTC U11. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 20, else you can save some dollars and buy the HTC U11, resigning a couple features and specs.
