The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a global score of 82.9, which is slightly better than HTC U11's 77.6 score. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro body is newer, but somewhat heavier and just a little thicker than the HTC U11. Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a little better hardware performance than HTC U11, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a little sharper display than HTC U11, because it has a slightly higher 1440 x 3120 resolution, a larger screen and a little bit better display pixels density. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a little bit better storage to store more apps and games than HTC U11, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro shoots much clearer pictures and videos than HTC U11, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a much more mega pixels back facing camera and a way larger sensor shooting way better quality photographs.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a superior battery duration than HTC U11, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC U11. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro, else you can save some dollars and get the HTC U11, giving up a couple features and specs.
