The Huawei Mate X is better than the HTC U11, with an 89.4 score against 77.6. The Huawei Mate X is a noticeably newer cellphone than HTC U11, but it is way heavier and much thicker. The Huawei Mate X features just a bit better performance than HTC U11, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate X also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
The HTC U11 has a bit sharper screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a little lower 1440 x 2560 resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a better quantity of pixels per inch in the display. The Huawei Mate X has a much better storage capacity for apps and games than HTC U11, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal memory capacity.
HTC U11 has just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a back camera with a much worse 12 mega-pixels resolution and a way smaller sensor providing a way lower image quality, it also counts with a larger camera aperture. The Huawei Mate X counts with a superior battery lifetime than HTC U11, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC U11. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the HTC U11, resigning a couple specifications.
