The HTC U11 has a general score of 77.6, which is a little bit better than Moto Z2 Play's 77.4 general score. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison, the HTC U11 is a way thicker and heavier cellphone than the Moto Z2 Play. The HTC U11 has a little bit better performance than Moto Z2 Play. Both of them have 8 processing cores and the same RAM amount.
HTC U11 counts with a bit better looking screen than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the HTC U11 also has a higher display pixel density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution. HTC U11 takes a bit better videos and photos than Moto Z2 Play. Both of them have a same size aperture, a 12 megapixels back camera, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video resolution.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than HTC U11, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Moto Z2 Play has a battery performance that's very similar to the HTC U11 one.
Although HTC U11 is a better device, it costs more money than the Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto Z2 Play. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the HTC U11, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Moto Z2 Play, giving up a couple features and specifications.
