The Galaxy A8 (2018) has a general score of 79.2, which is a bit better than the HTC U11's 77.6 global score. Despite being the best phone we are comparing, we must highlight that it is also a a little thicker and a little heavier phone. HTC U11 counts with just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a little better amount of pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy A8 (2018) has slightly more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC U11, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A8 (2018) also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 256 GB. The HTC U11 has just a little better performance than Galaxy A8 (2018). Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processor.
The HTC U11 features a little bit better camera than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a back-facing camera with a way lower 12 mega-pixels resolution, and they both have the same camera aperture, the HTC U11 also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video definition. The Galaxy A8 (2018)'s battery duration is just as good as the HTC U11 one.
