The HTC U11 is a bit better than the Galaxy J8, getting a global score of 77.6 against 76.7. Although the HTC U11 is older than Galaxy J8, it's design is a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner. HTC U11 counts with a much more vibrant display than Galaxy J8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and much more pixels per screen inch.
The HTC U11 has a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy J8. Both of them have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM. The HTC U11 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a back facing camera with a much lower resolution, and they both have a F1.7 diafragm aperture, the HTC U11 also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a bigger back camera sensor.
Samsung Galaxy J8 features a slightly bigger storage capacity for games and applications than HTC U11, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy J8 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Galaxy J8 has just a bit longer battery life than HTC U11, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
