Comparison review

Galaxy Note 5 is just a bit better than HTC U11, having a global score of 79.3 against 77.6. The Galaxy Note 5 body is just a little bit thinner than HTC U11, but it is a little heavier and was released a little bit further than a year before. HTC U11 counts with a superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the HTC U11 also has a higher number of cores (and also faster).

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a slightly better screen than HTC U11, because although it has a bit inferior pixel quantity in each inch of display, and they both have exactly the same 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a quite bigger display. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a little bit better camera than HTC U11, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low-light images and video and a smaller sensor taking lower quality videos and photos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a back camera with a much higher 16 mega pixels resolution.

HTC U11 has a much better storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the HTC U11 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. Galaxy Note 5's battery life is very similar to HTC U11's battery duration.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC U11. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the HTC U11, letting go some specifications.
