Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S5 has an overall score of 80.8, which is slightly better than HTC U11's score of 77.6. Samsung Galaxy S5's design is lighter than HTC U11, although it is a little bit thicker and was released 3 years before. The Galaxy S5 features a bit superior CPU than HTC U11, because although it has a lower number of cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a more vivid screen than HTC U11, because although it has a quite smaller display and a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, it also counts with a little bit higher pixel amount in each inch in the display. HTC U11 has a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S5, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB, the HTC U11 also has 64 GB internal storage.
The HTC U11 has just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy S5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh. The Galaxy S5 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than HTC U11, because although it has a much smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for taking images or videos in low light situations and a tinier sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a lot better resolution camera in the back.
Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC U11. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the HTC U11, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
