Comparison review
The Galaxy S7 edge has a general score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than the HTC U11's 77.6 global score. Although the Galaxy S7 edge is older than HTC U11, it's design is a little bit lighter and a little thinner. The HTC U11 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy S7 edge. They have a better pixels number in each inch in the screen, a screen of the same size and the same exact resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
HTC U11 has just a bit better performance than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the HTC U11 also has more CPU cores. The HTC U11 features a better storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The HTC U11 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, although it has a smaller camera sensor which gives a worse photo and video quality, they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same aperture and the same resolution camera in the back.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has superior battery lifetime than HTC U11, because it has a 3600mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it costs more than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC U11. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the HTC U11, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
