Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than the HTC U11's 77.6 overall score. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium's body is newer than the HTC U11's, although it's noticeably thicker and incredibly heavier. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a little better performance than HTC U11, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a more vivid screen than HTC U11, because it has a higher pixels density, a bit larger screen and a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a quite bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than HTC U11, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features longer battery life than HTC U11, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a little bit better camera than HTC U11, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for capturing images or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a larger camera sensor taking higher quality photographs and a much better resolution back-facing camera.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC U11. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save some money and buy the HTC U11, giving up a couple features and specifications.
