Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a score of 81.2, which is just a bit better than the HTC U11's 77.6 global score. Even though the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and the HTC U11 were only released 5 months apart, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's body is a little thinner but also just a little heavier than the HTC U11. The HTC U11 has a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a better display density.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than HTC U11, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has just a bit better performance than HTC U11, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features just a little better battery lifetime than HTC U11, because it has a 13% bigger battery capacity. HTC U11 features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 12 megapixels resolution, the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the HTC U11 also has a bigger sensor providing a better image quality and a bigger camera aperture to take better photography and videos in low-light environments.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC U11. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, else you can save some dollars and buy the HTC U11, giving up a couple specifications.
