The Samsung Galaxy M20 has a global score of 78.9, which is a little bit better than the HTC U12 Life's general score of 74.4. Both devices in this review have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy M20 has the previous 10 version and HTC U12 Life has Android 8.1 Oreo version. The Samsung Galaxy M20 body is just a little thicker and a little heavier than the HTC U12 Life.
The HTC U12 Life and the Galaxy M20 feature very similar screens, although the Galaxy M20 also has a little bigger display, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a bit higher pixels count in each screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy M20 has a CPU that's just as good as the HTC U12 Life one, they have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
Galaxy M20 features a greater storage to install applications and games than HTC U12 Life, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy M20 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy M20 features a way better battery performance than HTC U12 Life, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3600mAh.
The HTC U12 Life counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy M20, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photography and videos, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video quality and a more megapixels camera.
