Galaxy Note4 has a global score of 77.6, which is a bit better than HTC U12 Life's global score of 74.4. Galaxy Note4's body has the same thickness than HTC U12 Life, but it's a little bit heavier. Galaxy Note4 has a little bit better hardware performance than HTC U12 Life, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

The Galaxy Note4 counts with a bit more vivid display than HTC U12 Life, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher pixels count in each display inch. The HTC U12 Life has a much greater memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note4, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds up to 128 GB, the HTC U12 Life also has 32 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note4 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than HTC U12 Life, although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures or video in poorly lited situations, they both have the same video resolution, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
