Comparison review
The TCL 20 Pro 5G is just a bit better than HTC U12 Life, getting a 76.1 score against 74.4. TCL 20 Pro 5G is a noticeably newer cellphone than the HTC U12 Life, although it is just a little heavier and a little thicker. These phones use Android operating system, but TCL 20 Pro 5G has older 11 version while HTC U12 Life has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a screen that's just as good as the HTC U12 Life one, because although the TCL 20 Pro 5G has a just a little lower display density, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a little bit larger display. The TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC U12 Life, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a little bit better processing power than HTC U12 Life, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a higher amount of RAM memory. TCL 20 Pro 5G has greater battery performance than HTC U12 Life, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3600mAh.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a better camera than HTC U12 Life, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a way higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a larger aperture to capture better photography and videos in poorly lited environments.
