Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is slightly better than the HTC U12 Life, getting a 75.8 score against 74.4. Both phones in our current comparison have Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has the older 8.0 Oreo version and HTC U12 Life has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Even though Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and the HTC U12 Life were released with only a few months difference, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's construction is just a little thinner but also a little bit heavier than the HTC U12 Life.
The HTC U12 Life and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro have quite similar displays, they have the same display pixels density, a screen of the same size and the same 1080 x 2160 resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a bit better performance than HTC U12 Life, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features as much memory capacity to store more apps and games as the HTC U12 Life one, they have a SD extension slot that supports up to 128 GB and the same 64 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a bit better battery duration than HTC U12 Life, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
